What is New York Business Express?

New York Business Express provides access to a wide array of information on how to start a business in New York State including business structure and name filing, support and incentives, permits and licensing, employer responsibilities, tax requirements, and other information.

It also includes a Business Wizard that can be used to create a checklist of business requirements based on a specific business type. The checklist can be printed, emailed, or saved for future reference. Many of the forms required by New York State to start a business can be accessed, filled out, and submitted online using the Business Wizard on New York Business Express.
