Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that beginning on Monday, December 13, 2021, New York State is reinstituting a mask mandate. Masks will be required for all indoor public spaces, unless the business or venue has a vaccine requirement for entry. Governor Hochul said that the state will re-evaluate this mandate on January 15, 2022, and decide how to move forward at that time based on current conditions.
