SBA and IRS Announce Tax Informational Webinars

The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced in conjunction with the IRS, this 3-week series of webinars with helpful information regarding Taxation and Financing for businesses. Below are the following topics.

July 17 - Dirty Dozen Tax Scams: The Dirty Dozen lists a variety of common scams that taxpayers can encounter anytime. The IRS warns taxpayers, tax professionals and financial institutions to beware of these scams.

During this webinar, we will provide information on how to setup your online account with the IRS and protect it against identity theft.

July 24 - Inflation Reduction Act - Clean Vehicle Credits:  A significant portion of the Inflation Reduction Act’s clean energy investment is delivered through tax incentives, including clean vehicle credits. Join us for this webinar to learn about tax credits for qualified plug-in electric drive motor vehicles, including adding fuel cell vehicles. Starting January 1, 2023, consumers may be eligible for a tax credit for used or previously owned cars and businesses may be eligible for a new commercial clean vehicle credit. July 31 - Energy Efficient Home Improvement & Clean Energy Credits for Home-Based Businesses:  Join this webinar to learn about tax credits relating to energy efficiency and clear energy. Details include: Tax credit for energy-efficiency improvements of residential homes. Homeowners who improve their primary residence will find the most opportunities to claim a credit for qualifying expenses. Renters may also be able to claim credits, as well as owners of second homes used as residences. Tax credit for the purchase of residential clean energy equipment, including battery storage with capacity of at least 3 kWh. Homeowners are eligible and renters are eligible for certain improvements. The credit provides a 30 percent tax credit to lower the installation cost of residential clean energy qualifying properties.
