Faisal Merani formed LaSalle Hospitality, Inc. to renovate and upgrade the former Red Jacket Inn, a vacant waterfront hotel located at 7001 Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls, New York. The company achieved a major transformation of the property by fully renovating all guest rooms, banquet rooms, and meeting facilities. The new Four Points by Sheraton opened in the Spring of 2011.
